Sustainability & Environmental Care
How are your lures made to minimise environmental impact
Our lures are crafted from durable, sustainable plastic that’s non‑toxic and designed to last, reducing the need for frequent replacements. We manufacture in small batches to minimize waste, use plastic‑free FSC‑certified packaging, and ship efficiently with responsible carriers. At end‑of‑life, we encourage returns for recycling or safe disposal, keeping materials out of waterways and landfills.
What should I do if I lose fishing tackle in the water
If you snag your tackle, resist the urge to yank hard — this often leads to break‑offs and leaves harmful debris behind. Instead:
- Change your approach: Move to a different position, adjust your retrieval angle, or let the line go slack to work the snag free.
- Use recovery tools: A lure retriever or weighted dropper can often save both your gear and the environment.
- If unrecoverable: Choose tackle made from materials that corrode or biodegrade more quickly to reduce long‑term harm.
- Mark the spot: Log the snag’s location on a GPS or mental map so you can steer clear next time and alert fellow anglers.
Every recovered lure prevents potential injury to wildlife and keeps waterways cleaner for everyone.
How do your products support healthier waterways and native species
We design every lure with the environment in mind, using durable material that’s non‑toxic, lead‑free, and built to last, meaning less gear lost and less pollution in our rivers. High‑visibility finishes make recovery easier, and optional faster‑corroding hooks help reduce ghost‑fishing if tackle can’t be retrieved.
Our biodegradable, eco friendly and efficient shipping reduce waste and emissions, while our take‑back and recycling program ensures retired lures stay out of waterways. By combining eco‑safe materials, responsible manufacturing, and end‑of‑life recovery, we help protect water quality and create safer habitats for native fish, birds, and other aquatic wildlife.
